The Art Section of the Sri Aurobindo Sakti Centre Trust arranged a workshop on Sunday 21st December 2025 covering various subjects, including cloth craft as part of Tatwa decoration, umbrella painting, opaque painting on glass with acrylic, bottle craft, painting on Kulo, clay mural, creative bookmarks, and white pastel on black paper. Students from this institution, as well as external participants, tried their hands at different forms of arts and crafts under the careful supervision of the art instructors. Chhandok Majumder, an ex-student of Sri Aurobindo Bal Mandir and currently a graphic designer at Udbodhan (Bagbazar), also joined the workshop as an instructor and conducted a session on how to study the great master paintings. The programme was inaugurated by singing Tagore’s verses and lighting the lamp. Mr. Atanu Chatterjee, associated with Sri Aurobindo Society, Arcadia Centre, Behala, inaugurated the event by lighting the auspicious lamp. All the members of the trustee board graced the occasion with their presence. The enthusiastic participants of diverse age groups thoroughly enjoyed this hands-on experience.
