The Sakti Centre organizes regular meditation sessions at the Shrine and discourses and regular programmes and workshops on topics related to Sri Aurobindo’s ideology and literature as well as various spiritual themes. Conferences involving members from the teaching community and youth as well as exhibitions are organized. Besides, celebrations like Sri Aurobindo Jayanti, Mother’s Jayanti are held with due solemnity and enthusiasm. Other celebrations like Poila Boishakh, Bijoya Sammelan are held every year. Days like Sri Aurobindo and Mother’s Mahasamadhi, Samadhi and Darshan Days are observed with meditation sessions. On the other days people may come and sit in the Shrine for meditation. Special Lecture programmes on various topics are also held where eminent speakers are invited.
